Dr Jane Fitzgerald

Dr Jane FitzGerald completed her medical degree at the University of Melbourne in 2000 and trained in anaesthetics at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. She completed her fellowship in cardiac anaesthesia in 2008. As a consultant anaesthetist at the Alfred Hospital Melbourne since 2008, her practice includes a range of the most acute and complex surgical and trauma cases. Jane is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (FANZCA) and actively participates in their Continuing Professional Development. Her interests include ultrasound guided procedures and nerve blocks.
When not at work, Jane enjoys spending time with her young family, as well as running, cycling and swimming.
